Abstract

The ZTSA safeguards digital financial, healthcare, and government infrastructure. For long-term organizational ecosystem attacks, perimeter-based security is inappropriate due to cloud-native technologies, hybrid workforce models, and extensive third-party integrations. We investigate Zero Trust Security Architectures' identity-centric authentication, micro-segmentation, and continuous verification design, architectural frameworks, and operational approaches for regulated enterprises. A critical research examines how Zero Trust frameworks increase cyber resilience and meet HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOX requirements. The report suggests behavioral analytics, risk-adaptive authentication, software-defined perimeters, and policy-driven access control for corporate trust validation. Zero-trust should handle governance, performance overhead, scalability boundaries, and legacy system integration. Case studies indicate zero trust designs reduce insider threats, lateral movement attacks, credential breaches, and supply chain vulnerabilities. Promote threat response orchestration, AI integration, and compliance automation framework research. The findings suggest designing scalable, compliant, and adaptive Zero Trust infrastructures to support mission-critical digital operations in regulated industries while maintaining regulatory integrity, data confidentiality, and operational continuity in the evolving cyber threat landscape.
