Abstract

Public cloud infrastructures support enterprise software growth, recovery, and adaptation. Manual or semi-automated cloud platform provisioning makes large-scale business delivery unreliable and repeatable due to configuration drift, irregular deployment patterns, and delayed release cycles. Infrastructure-only cloud automation without governance, platform standards, or developer-centric self-service disrupts operations. Cloud environments are standardised, policy-driven, and repeated using Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering for automated public cloud platform delivery pipelines. Tiered automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, configuration orchestration, security policy enforcement, and continuous delivery integration provide deterministic platform lifecycle management. Reference architectural patterns, pipeline orchestration methods, and governance-aware automation solutions were developed for corporate adoption. The paper examines how automated platform delivery impacts massive distributed software ecosystem operational robustness, compliance, and innovation velocity.
